Lusitânia Sax Quintet

Lusitânia Sax Quintet, formed in 2023, is a chamber music group created at the Escola Superior de Artes Aplicadas (ESART), under the guidance of Professor António Carrilho.
In May 2024, it won ESART's 1st Internal Chamber Music Competition, demonstrating a high level of commitment to music. This success opened doors to new opportunities for the group, which was invited to take part in the prestigious Terras de Santiago music festival in Almada.
The repertoire performed by the Lusitânia Sax Quintet ranges from the Renaissance period to works from the 21st century.
