The importance of light and music in an individual's life is indisputable. The discovery of fire, the first way humans discovered to produce light, brought about a revolution in human customs and is considered one of the most important discoveries for survival. In light of this, Intermittencies is a show that focuses on music through light. Intermittent qualifies everything that interrupts, ceases and repeats itself. In a continuous intermittency, different visual and auditory patterns are created that cease but never end and that repeat but are never the same.The show Intermittencies seeks a performative and multidisciplinary approach through light and sound in a synergistic, unusual and luminous concert with a vast array of percussion instruments and luminous objects. Intermittencies features works by composers Juliana Hodkinson, David Bird, Cathy Van Eck, Simon Løffler and Carlos Guedes.
