Composed in 1720 and published in Amsterdam in 1725 with poems explaining what the music was meant to evoke, Antonio Vivaldi's The Four Seasons is probably one of the best-known pieces of classical music. This masterpiece, which deserves to be heard over and over again, will be brought to Alcobaça by Os Músicos do Tejo, in what will be a unique moment to discover (or rediscover) a fundamental work of music. In this interpretation, the poems will be heard in Portuguese translation and, in an original and communal spirit, the concert will have not one, but several soloists recreating the different movements that make it up.
