Embark with Cindazunda on a journey through Europe's musical heritage, with a starting point in the heart of Portugal, but with no certain destination... A project that reimagines the essence of traditional music, breaking down any and all stylistic barriers, through a free, spontaneous and authentic musical exercise.
At the base of the melodic matrix of Cindazunda's repertoire is the diatonic accordion (João Tavares), gracefully accompanied by the transverse flute, saxophone and bagpipes (Hugo Oliveira), whose earthy resonance evokes ancient stories. Leading the rhythmic journey is a challenging percussion (Vítor Rodrigues) in an eclectic mix of traditional and contemporary elements. The resonance of the double bass (João Fragoso) creates a solid base for musical exploration, leading listeners to immerse themselves in different sound scenarios.
A journey where cultural heritage meets improvisation without borders, to a place where tradition thrives and innovation flourishes.
