Casa Bonita's sound was created for the dance floor - inspired by their favorite DJs and records, from Azymuth and Herbie Hancock to André 3000's latest instrumental release. Matured during the long summer days in Lisbon, the project was born from the reinterpretation of the group's favorite electronic dance tracks with a full band. The band's eponymous debut album features ten mesmerizing tracks that transport you to a sunny afternoon. The album has been played on radio stations all over the world, including a performance on Huey Morgan's BBC6 Music program as his Beat of The Week.
An artisanal approach serves as the common thread throughout Casa Bonita's universe; through video work, the album comes to life with visuals shot on 16mm film, showcasing intimate and authentic moments that capture summer scenes that evoke nostalgia and familiarity.
