The Fronteiras programme closes the Cistermúsica season, bringing to the last quarter of the year a line-up dedicated to contemporary music and the creation of artistic dialogues with other musical currents and cultures.
Taking advantage of the diversity of venues in Alcobaça that lend themselves to cultural experience, Fronteiras allows the music of composers from different eras to meet with the musical languages of the present, promoting concerts that move between minimalism, experimental music and the Portuguese musical tradition, revealing the richness and diversity of present-day artistic creation.
